Ilmi-Åse Mathiesen

Classical Piano: Ilmi-Åse is a wonderfully talented classical pianist who combines brilliant play with deep emotional communication. She has studied with Professor Staffan Scheja in Stockholm and for Professor Jiri Hlinka at the Barratt Due Music Institute in Oslo.

As a student, Ilmi-Åse debuted at the Oslo Concert Hall. Since then, Ilmi-Åse has played in all Nordic countries, as well as England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Switzerland. In Scandinavia, her career as a solo pianist has included concerts on the main stage in The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, Oslo Concert Hall, Oslo City Hall, The Festival Games in Piteå, Västerås Concert Hall, Waldemarsudde and several concert halls.

She has a broad repertoire and shows a strong interest in classical and romantic composers, and also for lesser-known music that may be forgotten. Perfect for weddings or adding a touch of class to your corporate event
